How do we use your data and your privacy rights?

The British Council and partner will use the information that you are providing in connection with processing your registration for the conference. The legal basis for processing your information is agreement with our terms and conditions of registration.

The British Council complies with UK data protection law and the laws of other countries that meet internationally accepted standards. You have the right to request a copy of your information stored in our registry, as well as the right to request the correction of any inaccuracies in such information. You also have the right to file a complaint with a privacy regulator, in case you have questions about how we have used your personal information. We will retain your registration details for a period of up to six months from the time of collection.
