 About BBELT 2023

BBELT (Best and Brightest in ELT) is one of the main events in the English Language Teaching calendar in the Americas. The conference offers teachers of English an opportunity to learn about the latest trends and new ideas in English Language Teaching (ELT). Attendees can participate in academic sessions, presentations, and workshops, and attend the poster exhibition and demonstrations of some of the best teaching material available.

It provides a space for exchange, dialogue, and reflection on ELT in the Americas, bringing together outstanding teaching specialists from the Americas, the UK, and the rest of the world.

The 2023 edition of BBELT is an online regional conference that expands our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) offer and creates new opportunities for the ELT community in the Americas. BBELT connects teachers in an exchange of ideas and best practices to develop new skills through new ways of teaching.

As we emerge from years of a health crisis, which forced and accelerated experimentation and innovation, now is an opportunity to share experiences and look to the road ahead. How will lessons learned shape learning and teaching from now on? This year’s conference theme, Moving Forward, Learning Together, will be a space for teachers and other ELT professionals to address this question.
