Delivering over 1400 remote lessons per week for Ceibal en Inglés, the British Council Argentina Remote Teaching Centre’s priority is to streamline and ensure high-quality lessons, with teachers working autonomously from their homes. This presentation explores the experience of developing a robust CPD initiative, which combines formal and informal observations, peer observations and self-observations. Participants will find out how a multi-faceted observation scheme can be designed and implemented to assess teaching quality, disseminate good practices, and identify areas of opportunity for individual teachers.
