In 2018, the Women on the Move programme started in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where the British Council organized the Women of the World Festival to explore the skills and enormous qualities that women can offer to a field in which their absence is visible: science.
As a way to recognise, support, and show the work carried out until know, the Women in Science magazine was born which, in its two editions, tries to collect the reports and different reflects from the meeting that the British Council managed to organize hand-in-hand with powerful women willing to break down taboos.
